Pogie Calderon has been a resident of Santa Cruz County since 1984, raising her three very active children. As a loan agent for over fifteen years, she has enjoyed helping first time home buyers settle into their own homes.  Understanding the challenges facing families today, she is uniquely equipped to fit them into the many loan programs available now.  Pogie is approved to provide VA & FHA loans, to purchase homes with little or no down payment.  Having successfully worked with investors in this housing market, she has found creative problem solving ways to capitalize on low prices and all time low rates.

Pogie supports the local art scene, being a published poet.  Her son Nico is a well known surfer from The Point and Rapper in the band "NTP".  For those who read the Sentinel, you will remember her son, Noah Calderon, all over the sports pages back in 2000 as the golf champion for all of Santa Cruz County High School.  Her daughter Kahlie Koehler dominated those same pages a few years later playing for Soquel High Varsity Waterpolo.  They have been an active Capitola Jr. Lifeguard family since 1985, with Kahlie coming home every summer from college to serve as a Jr. Lifeguard instructor at Capitola Beach.  Pogie is a down-to-earth, service-minded professional who makes the loan process fun.
